HOT for Hot Tot....
My daughter's hair has been increasing difficult to comb and she hardly let anyone including me to touch her hair..My hair was the same when I was young and I hated anyone to touch my hair because it hurt. I do not want to put my daughter thru any of that and I have tried various leave in conditioners with little to no success. I was checking out Keeping up with Stella http://www.keepingupwithstella.com and I saw Hot Tot Conditioning Detangler. The post was praising the conditioner and I knew that I need to try it. I am sooo glad that I did because it worked wonders!! My daughter actually let me comb her hair and style it this morning. I am so glad that I saw that post and that I decided to try it because nothing worked like Hot Tot...

Pretty Ribbon...
My family and I went to the Hoboken Art and Music Festival yesterday to check out all the great handmade items and to visit my sister-in-law who has started her own floral design business. My sister-in-law was sharing her booth with a very talent Mom of Valerie Parker Designs. I immediately fell in love with her bow design because it was unique and very beautiful. I purchase the pumpkin design for my daughter for the fall and Halloween, Valerie was soo sweet and I told her that her bow design was super cute. if you love beautiful hair accessories with a unique twist, you must check out

Bamboo baby blanket
I have this fascination with blankets especially baby blankets because there are so many wonderful companies that make beautiful blankets and blankies. I must say that mine and my daughter favorite is Bamboo Woven Baby Blanket by Yala formerly known as DreamSack. I absolutely love my blanket as much as my daughter loves hers, Although my daughter tends to steal mine often. I originally purchase mine via www.babyhalfoff.com before this site was sold to the current owners about 3 years ago. It was the best purchase I have made because
BambooDreams Woven Bamboo Baby Blankets by Yala These 100% Bamboo Baby Blankets are woven in a box weave and are incredibly soft next to your babies' skin. The bamboo fibers feel like silk and wicks moisture away from baby keeping your little one warm and dry. Bamboo adjusts to your babies' body temperature, keeping them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Bamboo contains anti-bacterial properties, discouraging the formation of bacteria or fungus or odor.a perfect solution for allergy sensitive little bodies. These lightweight baby blankets are finished beautifully, rolled and wrapped with a ribbon
It sold via a few websites now check out

I actually passed by Target store on Tuesday evening and it was sold out of all Missoni goods...I check ebay because I was curious and the sellers are selling the Missoni for ridiculous amount. Super SuPperSuit Baby Bib
I am all about essential items for my kids, I came across SuPperSuit Baby Bibs via Twitter. I immediately love the look and design of the baby bibs. I knew that I need to try it on my daughter, who will be 3 in November. She was excited to try the bib on and loved the print of pearl necklace and off the shoulder dress. My daughter does not like to put anything on but she was excited. I would definiately suggest this adorable baby bib to anyone. Plus, the SuPperSuit Baby Bib comes with a pouch to save and carry the bib.
SuPperSuit Baby Bib story:
When we, designers duo Gian Marco Merazzi and Paola de Stefano Merazzi, were expecting our first baby, we went out and bought (what we thought) was necessary for the well being of the baby, and then some!
We imagined all the things we would need to feed the baby once he'll start eating by himself.
Yeah I know, but as first time parent we pictured the perfect baby that would eat and smile away...
We soon realized that babies are messy. We couldn't keep up with it.
And what about those bibs that only cover the front of the body?
Babies get food allover themselves not just in front of them!
Being Eco-conscious and living in a small NYC apartment, prevented us from using disposable bibs and wanting to limit the Laundromat trips.
After our second baby was born we realized that most of the pictures we took of our little ones were taken at the dinner table and all of them with the bib on.
At one point we even stopped using bibs altogether thinking we would just change their clothes afterwards. We grew tired of changing outfits so often.
SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONE!
That is when we put our heads together and designed SUPPERSUIT.
SUPER suit + SUPPER suit.
First, we started by making the bib more like an art smock and using a lightweight fabric. That would also take care of our kid habit of yanking the bib off since our bib wears like an outfit. Then, we made the fabric water resistant while keeping it lightweight and wearable.
It was important for us to be able to easily wipe clean our SUPPERSUIT bib.
We also added a Velcro closure in the back to facilitate one hand operation, a large crumb catching front pocket to help collect spills and a carrying pouch to store the bib in your bag (very helpful when you have to store the bib that is still dirty).
We thought about making a design that will put a smile on your face:-)
And that is how Tuxedo Bib and Little Black Dress Bib were born.
From 6 months up.
This is SUPPERSUIT. This is our Vision.
Enjoy!

10 Years Ago-September 11, 2001
On Tuesday September 11, 2001 was a beautiful day and I remember commenting with my roommate (my boyfriend brother) on how gorgeous the day was. He worked in the towers and I worked in mid-town but really enjoyed taking the ferry then the subway to 27th street from the World Trade Center. He left to work and I followed a few minutes later because we lived about 2 mins from the ferry landing in Jersey City, NJ. I arrived but the ferry just left but I noticed smoke coming out one of the towers and I asked someone, the person told me a small plane hit the tower. In that moment, I noticed that I forgot my cell phone and since I missed the ferry. I went back to my apt to get my phone, when I returned to the ferry landing, the second plane hit ( I thought it was bomb) because I saw the explosion from the other side...I screamed "OH *HIT"....I tried to call my boyfriend and his brother with no luck...I was freaking out and I saw other people who were arriving to the ferry landing start to freak out...
I went back to my apartment to try my home phone to call and in that moment, my boyfriend family called to find out where my boyfriend and his brother. I did not know because I could not reach them either. I called work to tell them I was home that I could not make it to the work...a plane hit the towers..I ran back to the ferry landing because I could not stay in one place..Still trying to call my boyfriend and his brother...no luck...My family was could not reach me for a few hours and I took my mother a week or two before into the city...showing her my commute to work...My mother was worrying about me because she knew my route to work that I went thru the World trade center...In Jersey city, I was watching and waiting with disbelief at the ferry landing as the first tower fell. I was in tears watching it and then the second tower fell. I was in a state of shock, it was hard to compute. I finally spoke with my boyfriend and he was alright but it took a few more hours before we knew that his brother was safe. I did not know about the other attacks until later..The pentagon and the brave passengers on Flight 93...
RIP to the lives lost....I will never forget

Shopping while giving back...
What better way to give back but to shop! I really love the idea that the following companies have a program that gives back to those less fortunate.
Happy Blankie www.happyblankie.com
David Holdridge, founder of Happy Blankie, had a remarkable idea. His mother Emily encouraged him to bring his idea to life – and then added a life lesson that we can ALL teach our children - share. Her idea was to share the happiness of Happy Blankie with children in need of a smile. Thus, ONE to Love, ONE to Share, became the core philosophy of Happy Blankie. The concept is based on Emily’s message to David (and her other 3 children) – love one another, share with others and make a difference in the world.
Blankie Shares
Happy Blankie is donating blankies to children in need all over the world. YOU will be able to make a difference by choosing where you would like to give a blankie. When you receive your blankie you will be able to follow the instructions on the "giving is cool" tag in order to donate your second blanket.
We will send you an email that will keep you informed of our future giving dates and destinations. Both you and Happy Blankie are changing the world, two blankies at a time - and that is what we call REMARKABLE.

Awesome towel!!!
I recently came across Aacua by maamam, which is an awesome towel for my 2 month old son. The towel is perfect because it is 4 in 1 multi-use bath towel 1. Apron 2. towel 3. babywrap and 4. bathwrap, I felt it was a great investment and very worth it. I noticed recently that it was hard to take my son out of the baby tub and wrap him in a towel, so Aacua works very well because it hands free towel and versatile I highly recommend it to all parents as a must baby item or baby shower gift.

Sooooo Cute
I really enjoy sharing the mom owner companies that I have discover to everyone especially when they are a good friend to me. I had the honor of becoming friends with Amanda from Cutie Pa Tutus, she is truly talent individual. The outfits are super cute for everyday and special occasions, you can never go wrong with her adorable wears. Here is a little about Amanda
Cutie Pa Tutus , LLC is based in Charleston, SC. and was founded in 2008 by a mom who needed a tutu for her little girl's first princess party.
After an overwhelming reception in the local Charleston market, Amanda Moreno Duke, founder of Cutie Pa Tutus, decided that these little tutus might actually help her earn an income and be the hands-on mom to her two small children that she dreamed of being.
