Simple as ABC...

I came across the most adorable 48 magnetic ABC tiles by Schylling…These blocks tiles are magnets and are classic looking block faces…I purchased a lot for my then boyfriend little cousins.  The kids love them because the blocks were on the fridge and it was fun to spell words.  In my opinion, they were awesome learning tool for the kids.  Now, that I am a parent, I wanted to get the ABC wood blocks tiles for my daughter because I know she will love them.  I found them via http://www.finewoodentoys.com/pro1417161.html for $12.98

Crockpot love...

I received my crockpot as a wedding gift and my older sister swears by it...I decided to start using it and I love it...  My favorite recipes are

Easy Crockpot Chicken Santa Fe

1 pack of Chicken breast
1 can of Corn or Frozen Corn
2 cans of Black beans (or one pack dry beans)
2-4 cups of Chicken stock (depending how liquidy you like it)

extras: sour cream, avocado, cheese

Add everything to the crockpot, close the lid and let cook for 8-10 hours, if you use canned beans you probably can get away with 6 hours on high.

Lemon-Rosemary Chicken Breasts

Ingredients:
·         1/2 c. lemon juice
·         1 tbsp. vegetable oil
·         1 garlic clove, crushed
·         1 teaspoon. dried rosemary
·         1/4 teaspoon. salt
·         1/4 teaspoon. pepper
·         1 1/2 to 2 lbs.boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Preparation:
In a large food storage bag, place lemon juice, oil, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper. Add chicken. Close bag and marinate in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours, turning bag occasionally. Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour marinade over. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until tender, basting occasionally with the marinade, if possible. You may add frozen broccoli and carrots about 1 to 1 1/2 hours before done.
Serves 4 to 6.

BBQ Ribs in Crockpot

3 to 4 lbs. boneless spare ribs
1 each onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (16 oz.) BLT smoke BBQ sauce (or any brand)

Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Put sliced onion and minced garlic in crock pot. Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock pot. Pour BBQ sauce over ribs.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Add a cup of hot broth mixed with a tablespoon of flour to the bottom of the crock pot during the final hour of cooking if you want a gravy to serve alongside the ribs.
